Terms of Service
These terms describe the deal between you and Larp AI ("we", "us") when you use our website or app. By joining the waitlist or, once it's available, downloading and using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The short version
- You get a license to use the app, not ownership of it. The software stays ours; you may use it under the plan you choose.
- You're responsible for what you make. Only swap or clone faces and voices you own or have permission to use, and don't use Larp AI to harass, defraud, or deceive.
- Some features rely on third-party AI. Optional, clearly labeled cloud features (such as ElevenLabs TTS and voice cloning) are also governed by those providers' terms.
Your license to use Larp AI
Subject to these terms and your active plan (Free Lite, Pro subscription, or Lifetime buyout), we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Larp AI on devices you control. You may not resell, rent, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app except where the law expressly permits it.
Accounts & eligibility
You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your region (and at least 13) to use Larp AI. You're responsible for keeping any account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
Acceptable & responsible use
Face swap and voice cloning are powerful, so they come with real responsibilities. You agree that you will only swap or clone faces and voices you own or have explicit permission to use, and that you will not use Larp AI to impersonate real people without consent, to harass or defraud, to create non-consensual likeness or voice content, or to mislead others about who is actually speaking. These commitments are described in plain language in our Responsible use section, which forms part of these terms.
Content you create
You keep ownership of the content you produce with Larp AI. Because core voice and camera processing runs locally on your machine, we don't take ownership of your streams, recordings, or skits. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the source material you feed into the app.
AI & third-party services
Certain optional features depend on third-party providers, most notably ElevenLabs for AI text-to-speech and voice cloning. When you use those features, your input is also subject to that provider's terms and privacy policy. AI output can be imperfect or unexpected; you're responsible for reviewing anything you publish.
Plans, billing & refunds
Paid plans (Pro subscription and Lifetime buyout) are billed as described on our Pricing page. All prices shown on the site today are draft figures and may change before launch. Refunds are covered by our separate Refund policy.
Availability & changes
Larp AI is pre-launch and under active development. Features described as "coming soon" or "beta" may change, be delayed, or be discontinued. We may update, suspend, or modify parts of the service, and we'll aim to give reasonable notice of material changes.
Disclaimers & liability
Until the final terms are published, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't promise the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in this draft limits any rights you have that can't be limited under applicable law.
Termination
You can stop using Larp AI at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms or the Responsible use commitments are violated. License terms that by their nature should survive (such as ownership and responsible-use obligations) continue after termination.
Changes to these terms
As we move from pre-launch to launch, these terms will be expanded and finalized. We'll update the "Last updated" date when they change and, for material changes, give notice where appropriate.
